The COMTO Miami Chapter Financial Management Workshop is normally held at the beginning of the year and provides participants with information on various financial topics such as Wealth Management, Social Security & Medicare, Retirement Strategies, etc. The Workshop is facilitated by a local Financial Management consultant.

The COMTO Miami Chapter Mock Interview Workshop provides participants with both an inter-active training session and group discussion on preparing for an interview and an opportunity to mock interview with a panel of management professionals. The Workshop affords the participants with practical experience in a nurturing environment. In addition, panelists provide the participants with immediate and constructive feedback to enhance their future interviewing skills.

The COMTO Miami Chapter Developing an Elevator Pitch Workshop is a professional development workshop geared to assisting the participants in preparing a short summary or persuasive speech of their professional career within a matter of seconds. The intent is to use the speech to spark interest in the participant, an idea, product and to gain another opportunity to further discuss future endeavors or opportunities.

The intent of our Brown Bag Lunch Leadership Series is to bring both leaders and aspiring leaders from different levels and careers together to share key leadership strategies, styles, types, and to introduce attendees to our organization.

The Brown Bag Lunch Leadership Series is usually held from noon to 1:00 pm and is facilitated by a guest speaker who will normally share his / her successes during their professional development as well as touching on some of the topics below:

The COMTO Is Workshop is geared towards educating new and potential members about the organization. It provides information on the benefits of membership, opportunities for volunteering or engagement, and the core values of COMTO. The workshop gives an overview of COMTO’s nearly 50 year national history and nearly 35 year Miami chapter history.
