COMTO Miami Chapter will host a Transportation Youth Symposium at the William Lehman Center, 6601 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33166 on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The Symposium will bring together high school students (9th – 12th grade), transportation professionals and leaders to discuss opportunities and careers in transportation. Students will engage in interactive activities, tour facilities and meet transportation professionals. Space is limited. Students must register in advance and obtain parental permission. COMTO Black History Month

COMTO Miami Chapter will host its annual Black History Celebration on Thursday, February 16th at the Miami-Dade Central Bus Division Auditorium. The event will include a panel discussion on the National Black History theme from a business perspective, a Junkanoo Band, Singer Lyrica Jada, Dancers: Piece "elements" produced by Insurgent Cultivator, Poet Sunset Jones, D.J. Air, Land & Sea: Partners in Transportation Business Engagement Symposium

The Air, Land & Sea Symposium will bring Small Minority-owned and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) interested in doing business with Miami-Dade County (MDC) together with the transportation leaders of MDC and companies from the private sector to discuss MDC transportation project opportunities. The symposium will include informative and interactive matching sessions by transportation mode in which the small minority-owned business members will engage with project leaders and administrators to ensure project readiness. Participants include the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, Department of Transportation & Public Works, Port Miami and Greater Miami Expressway Agency.
