COMTO Presidential Letter

Dear COMTO Miami Members, Partners, and Friends,

It is an honor and privilege to serve as President of the COMTO Miami Chapter. I am proud to lead an organization with a strong history of developing transportation professionals, creating opportunities, building meaningful partnerships, and serving our community.

COMTO National’s mission is clear: to ensure transportation serves all. As President, I want that mission to be at the center of everything we do here in South Florida.

Transportation has played an important role in my own professional journey. I have experienced firsthand the value of mentorship, professional development, strong relationships, and having people who are willing to open doors for others. Those experiences have shaped how I lead and what I want COMTO Miami to represent.

My goal is for our chapter to be a place where people connect, develop, and create opportunities for one another. We will continue developing the next generation of transportation leaders, strengthening relationships between the public and private sectors, supporting businesses and entrepreneurs, engaging our communities, and providing our members with opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

We must also look toward the future. South Florida continues to grow, and our transportation industry is changing rapidly. New technology, innovation, infrastructure investment, workforce challenges, and changing mobility needs require strong leadership and collaboration. COMTO Miami should have a meaningful voice in those conversations and help ensure that the transportation systems of tomorrow are people-centered, safe, resilient, innovative, and supportive of economic prosperity.

But COMTO is ultimately about people.

COMTO National’s mission is clear: to ensure transportation serves all. As President, I want that mission to be at the center of everything we do here in South Florida.

That is how we strengthen COMTO Miami, and that is how we help ensure transportation serves all.

I look forward to working alongside our members, partners, past presidents, community leaders, and the COMTO National organization as we build upon the strong foundation of this chapter and prepare it for its next generation of leadership.
